The
Street Productions is a company owned and
operated by Ken LaRue. Ken
LaRue has been in the graphics
industry for the past 24 years. He was the
Art Director for an advertising company in
Chicago for 13 years before jumping into
the video and motion graphic industry in
1998. He was the Creative Director for Technical
Animations and Video were besides his production
of video projects for clients in the corporate
world he also wrote, produced and presented
training videos and DVDs for both Combustion
and 3ds max.
In 2003 he started this company The Street
Productions, Inc. While The Street Productions
continues to offer consulting, training and
services in video, 3d animation, web and graphic
design. The
Street Productions main focus today is helping
Combustion and Toxik user learn how to use these amazing
program.
In 2003 he also became 1 of only 7 Combustion
DTS (Discreet Training Specialist) in the world.
He has worked as a Combustion, Toxik, Maya Composite and Flame demo artist for
Autodesk at trade show such as NAB, Siggraph,
Mac World and DV Expo. In 2004 he was
hired as a full time employee by Autodesk as
the Compositing Application Specialist and today still works full time for Autodesk traveling all over the world training
and demonstrating Combustion, Toxik, Maya Composite and Flame.
Ken has taught Combustion, Toxik and Maya Composite at companies such as Disney Animations, DreamWorks, EA (Electronic
Arts) and CBC (Canadian Broadcasting Corporation). He has also taught compositing and special effect
classes at De Paul University
in Chicago, IL. and at several Autodesk training
centers.
He
has written articles and tutorial on using
Combustion for print and online magazines
such as Studio Magazine and Creative Cow.
He is also a forum leader at the Creative
Cow Combustion and Toxik online forum.
